Class Overview
The new DC1M STAR program stands for “Safety Training Award Recognition”. This program rewards the continued efforts of working safely on job sites, and also continuing upgrade training. The next terms of eligibility will run from July 1, 2026 – June 30, 2027. The annual picnic this year will be held on September 19, 2026 at IUPAT DC1M – 14587 Barber Ave, Warren, MI 48088.
Eligibility Requirements for the STAR Award Annual Banquet:
- Be a member in good standing within your DC1M local
- Work a minimum of 800 hours in a year without a recordable injury.
- Participate in at least 8 hours of upgrade training per year of eligibility.
